            (a)        College Hours                        :           10.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
            (b)        Class Hours                           :           10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
            (c)        Library Hours                          :           10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

 

1. Starting of new Session :
            Commencement of 2nd Year & 3rd Year B.A. and B.Com. (Hons & Gen.) classes from 2nd week of July  2011 (Tentatively)

2. Admission to First Year B.A. and B.Com. (Hons. & Gen.) Classes :
(Depends on the publication of H.S. results)
            Dates are fixed as per the directives of North Bengal University
            (a)  Admission procedure shall be initiated within a week of publication of H.S. results.
            (b) Admission process to be completed within thirty (30) days from publication of H.S. results. (without fine)
            (c) Admission with fine to be completed within five (5) from the last date of admission without fine.

3. Commencement of First Year B.A. and B.Com. (Hons. & Gen.) Classes :
(As per University Directives)
            First Year Classes to start within thirty five (35) days of publication of H.S. results. 2nd of July, 2011 (Tentatively)

 

 

4 Admission to 2nd Year & 3rd  Year B.A. and B.Com. (Hons. & Gen.) Classes :
(As per University Directives)
            Admission (Provisional) to the above classes must be taken within fifteen (15) days after the completion of University Part I and Part II final Examinations.

5. Commencement of 2nd Year & 3rd Year B.A. and B. Com. (Hons. & Gen.) Classes :
(As per University Directives)
            Classes to start after thirty (30) days of completion of Part I, Part II Final University Examination. July 2011 (Tentatively)

6. Puja Vacation :
            College will remain close from 2nd October  to 29th October, 2011

7. College Annual Sports :
            To be held in the Month of November/December, 2011

8. College Social :
            To be held in the Month of December, 2011

9. Winter Recess :
            All Classes will remain suspended  from 27th December to
            1st January, 2012

10. B.A. and B.Com. (Hons. & Gen.) Part-I, Part-II & Part III  Test Examinations :
            Unit Test (for Honours ): 2/3 Unit Test will be taken.
            General Examination to be held in 2nd Week of January, 2012. (Tentatively)

 

11. Declaration of result of B.A. and B.Com. (Hons.) Part-I , Part-II & Part-III Test Examinations :
            Results to be declared in 1st Week of February, 2012. (Tentatively)

12. Filling up of Forms for University Final Examinations :
(Depends upon University Notifications)
            For B.A. & B.Com. Part-III (Hons. & Gen.) with in 1st to 3rd week of February (Tentatively)
                For B.A. & B.Com. Part -II (Hons. & Gen.) with in 1st to 3rd week of February  (Tentatively)
                For B.A. & B.Com. Part-I (Hons. & Gen.) with in 1st to 3rd week of February (Tentatively)

13. University Final Examinations :
            B.A. and B.Com. (Hons. & Gen.) Examinations to be held from 1st Week of April, 2012  to 2nd Week of June, 2012, (Tentatively) Exact date is declared by the University in due time. (During this period normal classes remain suspended)

14. Students’ Union Election to be held on 1st or 2nd week of January, 2012.

15. General Excursion to be held on last week of December, 2011.
